Dale R. Inkley, President
For 30 years, Dale was a partner and officer of Inkley's, a 29-store retail photographic and electronics company. Dale was one of the founders of SDS in 1990. Among his current duties, Dale is directly involved in working with SDS clients in conducting employee research which includes customer service training, employee surveys and focus group facilitation. He is also involved in providing analysis and feedback on all SDS research projects. Since graduating from the University of Utah, Dale has established a reputation as a business leader in the Salt Lake community, including service in the American Cancer Society, Crimson Club, and Children's Service Society of Utah. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
Todd Morris, Director of Sales
Todd graduated from the University of Utah with a Degree in Communications in 1981. Upon graduation he began his career as an account manager with Procter & Gamble. He has over 30 years of marketing, research and sales experience. With SDS, Todd has been effective in broadening the company's client base to include customers throughout the United States, including over 250 municipal and cooperative utility systems in 30 states. Due to Todd's direct efforts, SDS has become the "research vendor of choice" for members of the American Public Power Association through our affiliation with Hometown Connections. His direct involvement with SDS clients includes both the sale and implementation of our various research services. Todd's strong background and ability to articulate the customer's needs have made him an integral part of the management team.
Dr. Michelle D. Inkley, Ph.D, Research Analyst
Michelle received a Ph.D. in Demography and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Penn State University, and a Masters Degree from Brigham Young University. As an Andrew Melon Fellow, she gained broad experience in working with statistical models and research protocols. Dr. Inkley has presented numerous papers and research projects at prestigious national conferences. Her extensive experience in conducting research in a variety of industries provides a professional yet "real world" approach to our clients' research projects.
Justin Jones, Director of Operations
Justin has a college degree in computer science with 12 years of computer technology experience. He is certified in MSCE, Alpha 5 and has extensive training in Ci3/Wincati, Sawtooth, SPSS and Access as well as other current research software. Justin has direct responsibility with interfacing with SDS field agents during each research project to ensure the highest level of professionalism and quality in obtaining data.
Dan Inkley, Director of Development Services
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication and an Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah. He has over 12 years of experience in developing the services of SDS and Resource Development Systems, a sister company to SDS. Dan's work includes data analysis, report writing, and marketing. His extensive knowledge and work experience ensure that each research project is conducted with the highest standards of accuracy and quality. In addition to his duties at SDS, Dan is founder of Wasatch Import, a leisure products company based in Utah.
Miranda Roberts , Office Manager
Miranda is the newest member of the SDS research team.. Her duties include project implementation and management, quality control, and assuring the highest standards in the final product delivered to clients. She also manages and facilitates all of the SDS monthly and quarterly ongoing reports. Miranda has a BS in the social sciences from the University of Utah.
